Bringing Up Kids Just Got Easier
As a brand with a primary focus on providing innovation through cutting edge technology, from taking a child's temperature to dispensing medicine, Kidz-Med® products provide solutions in order to give kids, parents and caregiver's hassle-free, safe child-rearing experiences.
Our story begins when Dr. Christopher F. Tirotta, MD, MBA, board certified pediatric clinician and director of cardiac anesthesiology at Miami Children's Hospital, and advocate on children's health and safety matters, founded Kidz-Med® in 1993 in order to provide unparalleled technology and medical expertise to parents with the goal of making child-rearing challenges easier.
He began to create educational books and videos for children on various health-related matters, such as the widely acclaimed pre-operative video, "A Hospital Trip with Dr. Bip," to explain to youngsters what to expect when they go to the hospital for surgery as well as "Dr. Bip's New Baby Tips," a video designed to explain to young children what to expect when their mom brings home a new baby.
The character Dr. Bip was created for children to identify with as something happy when learning about topics that were a bit scary. The methodology worked, and since 2004, Kidz-Med® has supplied purpose-driven products for kids. As a father of two young children, Dr. Tirotta understands reliability is essential, and leads the American Scientific Resources team to deliver quality products that make life flow smoother when needed most.
